Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Park and Jumeirah Village Triangle
There are three communities by developer Nakheel in New Dubai.
Jumeirah Islands
A gated community comprising large and luxurious detached homes grouped in 46 clusters, each made up of 16 villas, that are surrounded by artificial lakes. The development was completed in 2006 and is home to a private club with pool and gym facilities, a restaurant and a small supermarket.
Jumeirah Park
One of Nakheel's latest developments, Jumeirah Park is made up of 2,700 multi-bedroom detached villas ranging in size from 3,997 to 5,071 sq. ft. built on generous plots. The development features a small community shopping mall (J Park Pavilions) which is set to open its doors shortly. The community is large enough that it is nestled between both Sheikh Zayed Road and Mohammed bin Zayed Road, making it the only residential development in Dubai with direct access from these two major arteries.
Jumeirah Village Triangle
Located on the corner of Al Khail Road and Mohammed bin Zayed Road - directly south of Jumeirah Park, this development consists mainly of detached two-bedroom villas with sizeable yards as well as one and two bedroom townhouses. Since the developer permitted owners to expand or modify their villas, a variety of larger sizes have become available as well. A small supermarket opened its doors in March 2014 and further plans to build a shopping mall in the area were announced recently that will bolster the community's appeal in the coming years.
