Description

On the first day, following pick-up from your hotel in the morning, transfer to Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island built in the shape of a palm, where you can stop by the luxurious Atlantis hotel for a photo session. From Palm island, you can also catch glimpse of the Dubai Marina. Next, head to Souk Madinat Jumeirah. This Souk gives you an authentic cultural experience of the Middle East. From the Souk, see the world-famous luxury hotel, the Burj Al Arab, from which you can capture more incredible photographs. From here drive to the Blue Mosque, known as the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque. It has wonderful interiors decorated with beautiful chandeliers and a library that is home to a collection of almost forty thousand books related to different religions. Now, it is time to head to old Dubai to understand the origins and evolution of this wonderful city. Hop in an abra (water taxi), the city's oldest mode of transportation, to cross the Creek. Visit the Gold and Spice Souk for quick shopping. At the end of your tour, stay on your own at the souk or be transferred back to your hotel or selected location. The second part of your combo tour is an evening adventure into the desert on the second day. Following pick-up from your hotel, travel to the outskirts of the city and head into the desert en route to a traditional camp. Get breathtaking views of the desert dunes with activities such as a dune bashing drive by 4WD vehicle. If you are feeling truly adventurous, you can opt for the higher dunes. Enjoy a panoramic sunset view, before going to the Bedouin camp. Experience a traditional Arabic welcome of coffee and dates on arrival. Then, learn more about Bedouin culture through activities and entertainments such as tanura dance shows and belly dancing. Ride across the desert sands on camel back, get a traditional henna painting on your body or smoke a shisha pipe. You will be invited to dress up in traditional costume for a souvenir photo. Then feast on a gourmet barbecue of Arabian treats under a canopy of stars.
