You know you're in for a treat when you're dining and drinking at a restaurant whose founder invented the Mai Tai cocktail. Trader Vic's, a fusion restaurant that blends French, Oriental, Polynesian and American cuisines, enjoys just that extraordinary claim to fame.

It was in 1934 in sunny California that Victor Bergeron first started his saloon-style bar and restaurant. After Vic returned from his travels to Hawaii and Cuba in 1937, the saloon took on a more tropical vibe and nowadays, people in locations all over the world get to enjoy the friendly service, exotic cocktails, sumptuous cuisine and tropical décor that define Trader Vic's.

Set in the heart of Souk Madinat in vibrant Dubai, Trader Vic's offers live music and a buzzing atmosphere in a unique and fun environment. Just sit back, sip on a Mai Tai and let your cares melt away. You'll feel like you're on holiday in a tropical destination as soon as you walk through the door! Two more locations exist in Crowne Plaza Hotel and Festival City to cater to patrons across the other end of the city.
