Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) provides international investors with 100% tax exemption, 100% foreign ownership with no currency restrictions. Located near the busiest and most renowned international airport in the region, DAFZA is home to over 1600 companies from across the globe. Typical companies that call DAFZA home include key industry sectors such as electronics, IT, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, engineering, building materials, aerospace & aviation, logistics & freight, food & beverage, jewelry and precious stones among other luxury items.

The free zone is spread over an area of 696,000 square meters, with 13 buildings and 256 warehouses enjoying highly equipped infrastructure and modern facilities. The complex also has a spa, coffee shops, banking and postal services.

DAFZA's services include licensing and registration, employee sponsorship, online transactions processing, security, maintenance, conference facilities, shuttle services and government services.

DAFZA specialize in three types of licenses: Trade License to import, export, distribute and store items; Service License to carry out services; and Industrial License to carry light industrial activities such as packaging and assembly.

Company types eligible for registration are either a Free Zone Establishment, which is formed with a minimum of one shareholder and a maximum of 50, or a Branch Office of an existing company whereby a foreign company can set up a branch of its existing company in DAFZA.
