As of April 2013, Turkish Airlines operates more than 222 destinations using more than 220 next generation aircraft across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. It is the 4th largest carrier in the world by number of destinations and has received the Best Airline award in Europe for 2012.
Turkish Airlines is a Star Alliance member and also runs the Miles&Smiles Frequent Flyer Program which earns travelers miles while shopping using this proprietary credit card program. Another program, the Turkish Corporate Club, offers members benefits from exclusive corporate discounts on international flights on first, business, comfort and economy classes with no requirement to meet a stated flight travel volume.
