The tour starts at Al Seef Heritage Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton. You can reach the meeting point by taxi or via Sharaf DG metro station on the green line.
Begin with a walk through Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood (Al Bastakia), showcasing Dubai’s traditional lifestyle from the mid-19th to the late 20th century. Stops will highlight the area's history, culture, and local traditions.
At Bur Dubai Abra Station, board a traditional abra boat to cross Dubai Creek to the old markets: Spice Souk and Gold Souk. Pass by Old Dubai’s wall and visit the Coins Museum featuring ancient Arabian and Dubai coins. Learn about Islam at a mosque stop.
The Spice Souk in Deira offers narrow alleyways packed with a variety of spices. Nearby, the Textile Souk features aisles of fabric stalls before returning to the creek by abra boat.
The Gold Souk in Deira features small shops specializing in Arabic and Indian-style gold jewelry with traditional and unique designs.
