At.mosphere
Dubai
At.mosphere is located on the 122nd floor of the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa. To secure a window table for breath-taking views, arrive early and indulge in a couple of drinks in the lounge, overlooking Downtown Dubai and the Dubai Fountain. At.mosphere is 442 metres from ground level and only two levels below Burj Khalifa's observatory deck, making the restaurant one of the world's finest luxury dining experiences and a holder of the Guinness World Record for the highest restaurant from Ground Level.
Cliches and gimmicks are common fears with these types of restaurants, but At.mosphere defies this stereotype and presents an attractive restaurant with crisp white tablecloths, subdued lighting and polished wood panels.
The service is sometimes slow paced, but far from being a criticism, it enables one to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace while gazing across the fabulous views of the Arabian Gulf.
Dishes are presented in an artistic manner and the flawless appearances are a good indication of quality of taste. Don't miss 'Seafood Saturday' (12:30 - 3 pm) where hand-dived scallops, giant prawns from France, oysters, luscious lobsters from the Maine and Yellow Kingfish tuna from Australia are available to be sampled. On Friday evenings (6:30-11pm), enjoy a flavour of winter at At.mosphere with a seven-course tasting menu of seasonal flavours.
