Local tip for shopping

If you want to experience a more down-to-earth shopping vibe, head to Karama on a Friday morning. This area isn’t as flashy as the big malls, but you’ll find a wide variety of affordable products, from clothing to souvenirs. It’s a good place to practice your bargaining skills. Just be ready for a bit of a crowd and keep an eye on your belongings. If you’re buying electronics or branded items, check multiple vendors to avoid scams. Most importantly, go with open eyes and a relaxed attitude; the experience is part of the charm.
