Mercato Mall is the first themed mall in the United Arab Emirates which is established around a distinctive Renaissance architectural concept, capturing a unique blend of Tuscan and Venetian features.
Mercato Mall is by no means the largest mall in Dubai, for its competitors include the giant Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall, but it makes up for its size in charm. Indeed, Mercato Mall is a shining gem, seemingly plucked straight from the heart of Italy.
The mall houses a blend of assorted high-end shops and restaurants to suit its astute patrons. It is located on Jumeirah Beach Road, in the posh Jumeirah region, in a prime position to view the Arabian Gulf. At the weekend, the mall is often thronged with shoppers and people gathering over coffee/lunch dates. It houses a miniature jewellery souk in the Porto Vecchio Shops section, a seven-screen Vox Cinemas facility and a children's entertainment zone in Fun City.
