Mushrif Park
Dubai
A park like no other in Dubai. Mushrif Park was originally a ghaf plant sanctuary. The park is not lawned as with a typical neighbourhood park. This one is more natural in its design and aesthetics.
Activities are plentiful at Mushrif Park. Designated barbeque areas dot its open spaces, while vast walking and cycling tracks meander throughout. Active visitors can enjoy a game of basketball, volleyball or handball in the courts provided, or enjoy a dip at the public swimming pool, albeit at a small fee. Park officials went to length to provide a touch of old culture for guests to enjoy, and as a result, people can hire guided camel and pony rides and view goats in a small bordered area while chatting with tour guides about their experiences. The municipality also created an international village inside the park with 13 house models to view. They are quite charming.
For those looking for a bit of relaxation, a restaurant and cafe is on site for quick bites, a shot of caffeine or a cold beverage.
Park entry is AED 5 per person, and AED 30 per car.
