Description

Skip the purchase lines at the largest aquarium in the Western Hemisphere, and spend the day enjoying the aquarium's seven different galleries. The Aquarium features a variety of places to eat and drink, and parking is made easy in the connected parking garage. Every weeknight in June we’ll amplify the sounds of our city and uplift the talented voices of our artists. During this series, you will discover sound waves in a new way while connecting with the ocean’s magnificent life. Enjoy live music in our atrium while having access to the Aquarium’s galleries and presentations, included with general admission 5-9pm on weeknights! Learn about whale sharks, manta rays, giant groupers, and stingrays as you watch them from a huge window or walk through the clear underwater tunnel running through the giant tank. Discover the exciting energy of dolphins and their behavior from experienced trainers. Explore the world's coldest oceans with wildlife like the weedy seadragon, beluga whale, giant Pacific octopus, and Japanese spider crab. Introduce yourself to the charismatic nature of California sea lions before checking out one of the largest living reef exhibits of any aquarium in the world.

Important Information

• You will skip the ticket purchase line but will need to queue for the security check line
• The aquarium is one of Atlanta's most popular attractions and becomes crowded later in the day
• Plan to spend 2 to 3 hours here
• Children ages 2 and younger enjoy free admission
• Wheelchairs are available free of charge with a photo ID at the main entrance and information booth
• Hours of operation may vary. Please check before you go
• No outside food or drinks are permitted in the aquarium. Small snacks for children and visitors with food allergies are permitted
• The AT&T Dolphin Presentation and Under the Boardwalk Sea Lion Presentation are seated on a first come, first served basis.
• It is recommended to get in line at least 30 minutes before the show starts
• Strollers cannot be larger than 28” (71 cm) in width and 52” (132 cm) in length
• Wagons, push cars, and ride-ons are not permitted
