At Al Bayt, feel like you’re stepping into an Arabian palace and admire the interior’s geometric patterns, woodwork and elegant arches.’ Whizz up to the 124th floor – the elevator travels at a mind-boggling speed of 10 metres per second – and step out onto the observation deck. Feast your eyes on the iconic Dubai skyline featuring stellar landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Towers, Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina. Marvel at the surrounding desert dunes and the glistening Arabian Gulf on the horizon and look straight down for views of the Burj Lake and traditional Abras gliding around. Take one last peek before heading back down for afternoon tea. You’ll meet your guide back at the bottom who’ll take you to the Al Bayt restaurant located in The Palace Downtown, a luxury hotel.
